Abstract

Geomagnetic storms are the events of solar origin that most influence the earth's environment. It may cause damage to the technological systems on board satellites, or even on the Earth's surface. This phenomenon is one of the most studied in space weather. An automatic system that monitors the occurrence of this phenomenon by analyzing Dst index data, enables the creation of a database with important information from these storms. From that information collected by the system, we can analyze the data of the interplanetary medium, through satellite data, generating plots of the relevant parameters for identifying the structure that caused the solar geomagnetic storm. This system will enable quick analysis of events, dispensing researchers to download data and produce plots, increasing the research time for the analysis and understanding of the mechanisms involved in these phenomena.(AU)
