Abstract

In the masterpiece, The Second Sex, Simone de Beauvoir thinks the gender category having as basis the woman condition. For this, she takes Sartrean categories presented in Being and Nothingness that acquires a specificity in gender discussion that allow us to talk in a "existentialist feminism". To not be unfaithful, however, to Beauvoir project, it is necessary to follow how this feminism is based on a certain existentialism. (AU)
