Abstract

This research intends to point out the paraense poet Max Martins (1928-2009) in the context of the Brazilian literature of 20th Century, searching, for this, to understand his life, through his work, what it implies to know and to collate published and daily manuscripts, books, culminating with the writing of its literary biography and the edition of excerpts of its daily ones. Nine headings make up the workmanship of this author who if developed in an environment of delayed modernism, the Belem of the second half of the last century, and who became one of the illustrious representative greaters of poetry of the experimental and erotica character of the Brazilian Amazon: The stranger (1952); Anti-picture (1960); H'Era (1971); Risk subscript (1976); Speech in brackets (1982); Way of Marahu (1983); Book-poster 60/35 (1986); Not to console (1992 - congregated Workmanship); To have somewhere to go (1992); Marahu Poems (2001).
