Abstract

In this study, it is studying the potential use of agro waste such as peanut hulls in order to add value to this material through the production of composite particles of low density and to evaluate the thermal performance of broiler lined with that panel. To prepare the composite will be used peanut hulls and two-component polyurethane resin based on castor oil. Product quality will be evaluated based on the requirements of normative documents NBR 14.810:1999, ASTM D 1435:1994 and ASTM D 358:1998, through physical and mechanical characteristics and durability. Later we will evaluate the thermal conductivity of the composite according to rules 02:135.07-001 NBR/5:2003 and will produce a numerical model to simulate the internal temperature of poultry houses.
