Abstract

Given the frequent changes in our universities and the importance of elaborating assessment apparatuses to higher education institutions, academic writing becomes an important issue to be carefully investigated. The purpose of this research is thus to deepen our studies on academic writing, focusing on the Memorials presented in our free-teaching work. Considering enunciation as a manifestation of subjectivity in a specific institutional discourse, the analysis of subjectivity markers intends to show the way the self, at the same time subject and object, is finally created. The research is intended to be performed with the supervision of Professor Alain Rabatel at Lumière Lyon 2 University (ICAR research group - Interactions, Corpus, Apprentissage, Representations). As a result, we hope to deepen our knowledge about such subjective processing analyzing the way the subject, in its both personal and institutional dimensions, establishes a (re) creation of itself through language under the watchful gaze of institutional assessments.
