The real estate production and the restructuring of medium-sized cities in Londrina and Maringa / PR

Abstract

This research project aims to propose a work plan for the analysis of the production process of urban by the circuit real state in two major cities that Londrina and Maringa, both located in the northern area of Paraná state, with different characteristics in for the process of recovery, urban sprawl and segregation. The objective is to verify the performance of local capital firms, its territorial and its reproduction in other cities of similar sizes, then looking for further studies of these economic groups, ways in which such companies often centralize their management , streamline their activities and work in different cities and states, in different types of investments not only in housing but in civil construction in general. Thus, through the prism of historical geography of accumulation, ordering of space-time of capital and its reproduction in this sector, we propose a study dealing with the structural changes and structural scale of the two cities and also at other scales of political analysis and action this fraction of the capital, seeking to understand its logic and practice orchestrated recovery in financial markets and their effects on the dynamics of different types and moments of realization or recovery of these capital cities in space.
