Abstract

The possibilities opened for ethanol as a commodity on the international market, especially since 2000, has encouraged more entrepreneurs and investors from different parts of the economy to direct capital to the sugarcane sector, thus leading to an uncontrolled expansion of agricultural industries to non-traditional areas in cultivation of cane sugar. Following the path of capital year on year thousands of workers have been displaced in northeastern states and northern Minas Gerais to employ "temporarily" during the sugarcane harvest in agricultural industry of South Central. We left because of these assumptions to capture the dynamics of the territorial migration of workers involved in logging activities of cane sugar during the sugar cane harvest in companies in the region of Pontal do Paranapanema. As well as highlight the rearrangements and redefinitions of sugarcane on capital mobility of labor and the restructuring process, which expresses what is more "modern" forms of super exploitation of workers, combining technological advances with devices regressive labor relations, which undermines and subverts the subjects involved, putting obstacles to the unification of the workers and also limits explaining the complex reality of work. The main methodological approach that will seek to develop here, and conducting interviews with workers in the accommodation (dormitory towns) and the workplace, is outlined for understanding the processes involved in the determination of migration in the context of capital accumulation in the sugarcane industry . So that, together with the realization of the Work Plan, enabling us to understand the imperatives of the twenty-first century barbarism expressed in the harsh reality of life for these individuals and in different odd forms of identity.
