Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is among the priority lines in the Primary Health Care Policy in Brazil. The strategies of primary care, when planned and executed properly, are characterized as an enabling environment to meet the health needs of population. However, the TB patient has difficulty in Primary Health Care (PHC), because it has presented barriers of managerial nature, for the effective diagnosis and treatment of it. This research seeks to analyze the management practice regarded to sustainability of actions for TB control in the managerial actions in a municipality of São Paulo state. The subjects will be 12 managers of Basic Health Unities, 17 nurses from Family Health Unities, 01 Coordinator Basic Attention and 01 Coordinator from Tuberculosis Control Program. Data collect will occur through a closed questionnaire, after the signature of expiry of consent., according to the resolution 196/96. Will be carried an epidemiological study, type investigation, with quantitative approach. For the data analysis will be organized a database in the software Statistica 9.0, from Statsoft Inc. Descriptive analysis will be undertaken, such as frequency, mean, median and standard deviation. Is hoped that this research contribute to the improvement and qualification of the shares in TB, so that there is a (re) thinking in the planning and organization of actions, thus enabling an early diagnosis of the disease and its effective treatment.
