Abstract

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic disease that can affect both adults and children. The clinical manifestations are varied and can affect any organ, including the central nervous system (CNS). The neuropsychiatric manifestations in children has varied spectrum and different prevalences of headache, seizures, cognitive deficit, depression, anxiety, can be observed. The aim of this study is to assess the prevalence of depression and anxiety in patients with pediatric SLE, followed in the pediatric rheumatology unit.
