Abstract

The aim of this project is the study of the problems of stability analysis and control design for nonlinear systems described by Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy models. Continuous and discrete-time systems, performance indices such as the H-2 and the H-infinity norms, structural and saturation constraints will be investigated. As methodology, Lyapunov functions built as the fuzzy combination of quadratic functions depending on the premise variables, in a similar way the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is constructed, will be used, and the optimization problems will be described in terms of linear matrix inequalities.
