The implementation of new curriculum proposals is common in brazilian education. However, in some cases, experience has shown failures in governmental actions of the new enterprise educational projects. The difficulties in achieving satisfactory results are observed, especially with regard to implementation. In the specific implementation of a curriculum for the discipline of History in high school, there is a preponderance of these hardships because, inter alia, the subjectivity of its goals. Today, faced with a new attempt: the project "São Paulo faz escola" which, in short, has proposed teaching methodologies and content for all disciplines of elementary school II and high school in the State of Sao Paulo. Thus, the problem of this study is part of the perspective to understand and analyze the process of implantation and development of curriculum in History to high school, in view of the school culture and curriculum. This work will materialize through an "ethnographic case study" (interviews, observations and documentary analysis) to be developed in two state schools in the city of Assis, São Paulo State, to be selected in accordance with the Education Development Index the State of São Paulo - Idesp, that in 2009, evaluated the São Paulo public school students in the discipline of history.
