The transition metal oxides have been intensively studied in the last decade, not only for their potential technological applications but by the challenge physics. Several of them crystallize in the double perovskite structure. The structural, electronic and magnetic properties are interconnected. The a.c. conductivity in the double perovskites Ca2-xLaxFeIrO6 e Sr2-xLaxFeIrO6 can give information about electric and magnetic properties in these strongly correlated systems.The similarities of the magnetic properties of dimer spin 1/2 systems and polyanilines doped with plasticizers have been recently demonstrated. The spin 1//2 dimers have been shown to model a Bose Einstein Condensation (BEC) for some conditions of the exchange interaction. Using Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) the study of the exchange interaction will be done and the conditions favouring a BEC will be discussed.
