The evaluation of comfort conditions in aircraft cabins is still a field of studies with few published works. For treating of activity branch in that the progresses verified are not published usually in the open literature, each aeronautical industry ends up developing their own evaluation methods. In function of this, a research project of "Comfort and cabin design (Research Grant no. 2006/52570-1)", was elaborated in the extent of the PICTA – Embraer/Fapesp Program, in which this work is inserted. In the present research experimental measures of environmental variables and of an instrumented mannequin in an aircraft will be accomplished for the developing of a numerical model of thermal comfort evaluation. The environmental variables will be carried out in a mock-up in controlled conditions. The experimental evaluation of thermal comfort in the mock-up will be accomplished in three stages: without the people's presence (using mannequins with heat sources simulating people), using an instrumented mannequin, and with the people's presence.
