Mathematical models to estimate the digestible lysine requirements for commercial laying hens in production

Abstract

The objective of this project will study the lysine requirements based on the dose-response method to develop models to predict the requirements of this amino acid during the production of layers. Two tests will be conducted based on the dose-response method and the Reading Model. Will be used 384 broilers Dekalb White with 32 weeks of age. The birds will be distributed in a completely randomized design with eight treatments (levels of lysine) and six replications, each experimental unit consists of eight birds. For the formulation of diets will be adopted the technique of dilution. Be determined the production of eggs (%), feed intake (g), lysine intake (g / bird / day), feed conversion (g / g), average egg weight (g) and egg mass for each period 28 days. To determine the economic optimal dietary lysine from the response factors obtained for egg mass and body weight through the Reading Model will be evaluated the first 10 weeks. Regression analysis is performed using the software SAS 9.0, adjusting the models LRP, quadratic and polynomial or exponential.
