Housing production processes: analysis of joint village housing Vila União da Juta (São Paulo/SP)

Abstract

Understanding the process of producing housing, through the experience of self-managed collective effort Vila União da Juta, considering how basic aspects to this research, the understanding of the funding body, the Society of Housing and Urban Development of the State of São Paulo (CDHU) Program Effort Paulista (PPM), which form the object of study and the project was framed by architecture and urbanism deployed. From the case study (micro level), the research seeks to understand the specifics of the Union of Jute housing and within a broader context (macro scale), the research aims to contribute to the discussion about public policy social housing according to the manufacturing process.
