The cultivation of cotton has great importance for Brazilian farmer and country in the trade balance, this work has the aim to evaluate the different row spacing, plant density, management of growth regulators and their influences on the development of plants, the agronomic characteristics, technology of production of cotton and fiber crops in the latter season. This experiment will be developed in the Fazenda de Ensino e Pesquisa da Faculdade de Engenharia de Ilha Solteira FEIS/UNESP. The experimental design will be randomized blocks in a 4x4x2 factorial with 48 treatments and four replications, consisting of four spacings: 0.38, 0.48, 0.76 and 0.96 m between rows, four planting density: 6 - 8 - 10 and 12 pls /m, and regulator of growth: a) application split into four stages, b) applied only to the 70 Aid. The soil preparation is performed in conventional manner. The management pest control will be done by hand weeding for weed control and pest and disease prevention so if they occur. Leaf analysis will be performed by collecting 20 leaves from experimental plots, to 80 days after emergence, then the leaves will be subjected to chemical analysis for determination of nutrients. The assessments will be carried out in ten plants chosen at random every 14 days. The characteristics to be assessed are: plant height, stem diameter, number of stem nodes, distance between the nodes of the stem, length of branches of the fifth, seventh, ninth and eleventh node, number of flower buds, flowers and fruit of the branches of the fifth, seventh, ninth and eleventh node, average number of crop, the average number of vegetative branches, number of bolls per plant, yield, boll weight of 1, percentage of fiber, weight of 100 seeds, length of fiber, length uniformity, micronaire, maturity, tenacity of the fiber. The data obtained in this work will be submitted to analysis of variance by F test and test for comparing averages by (Tukey) at a significance level of 1% and 5%. Economic analysis will be performed at the data, to determine which of the treatments will be viable for the production of cotton in the field, or using non-reduced space, which will be placed as factors for assessing the cost of production (soil tillage, fertilization, control of pests, harvesting, etc.) related to the production and the market value today.
