Abstract

The doctorate project entitled "Design of Intelligent Systems Using DSP for Fault Identification in Three-Phase Induction Motors" has as main objective the development of new intelligent strategies, mainly based on artificial neural networks and fuzzy inference systems, which will be integrated with conventional signal processing methodologies and optimization technique by decomposition in orthogonal components for voltage and current waveforms in order to identify faults in three-phase induction motors.
