Abstract

The proposal of this project consists in the development and validation of analytical method, by liquid chromatography, that allow the determination of the presence of pharmaceutical drugs: omeprazole, lansoprazole and pantoprazole, in the enantiomeric form, in domestic sewage wasted - in nature - at urban area of the municipality of São Carlos–SP. The relevance in the selection of these compounds is associated with the great world wide consume of those substances, as well the local, in the treatment of the acid-related gastrointestinal disorders, such as duodenal, gastric and esophagus ulceration; beyond the use associated with antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, and antidepressives. Besides, once that of the selected compounds: omeprazole, lanzoprazole and pantoprazole are chirals and administered in the racemic form, the behavior of enantiomeric R and S of these compounds will be evaluated considering the developed method, as well the stability and susceptibility to the abiotic and biotic degradation in the environment. The expectative is that the results could be contribute to the knowledge of the environmental occurrence enantiomeric of these pharmaceuticals products for the human consumption. (AU)
