Abstract

The total syntheses of some fostriecin analogues will be carried out based on asymmetric allylation, ring-closing metathesis, aldol reaction and Tishchenko reactions. Both enantiomeric forms of mono- and bisphosphorylated fostriecin analogues will be prepared and their cytotoxic activity against eight human cancer cell lines and inhibition of phosphatases will be evaluated.
