Integrability and physical properties of quantum chains and vertex models

Abstract

In this research grant we intend to investigate different aspect of the integrability and physical properties of vertex models. We plan to study the physical quantities of generalized quantum spin chain as well as classical vertex model constrained by fixed boundary conditions. We also intend to investigate short range correlation of quantum spin chains. (AU)
