Abstract

The Prof. Dr. Zia Shariat-Madar, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Molecular Sciences, Division of Pharmacology, School of Pharmacy, University of Mississippi, United States of America. According to its attached CV, Dr. Madar research subject is the pathophysiology of the human plasma kallikrein-kinin system and this year he has accepted the invitation to participate in the symposium under my coordination "New Aspects of the Kallikrein-Kinin System Activity Beyond Inflammation" during the 46th Annual Meeting of SBBq (Brazilian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) from July 27th to 30th in Águas de Lindóia, SP. Taking advantage of his participation in this event and the bilateral interest in closer collaboration, Dr. Madar will remain for a few more days in the city of São Paulo, between July 31st to August 5th, to visit the Escola Paulista de Medicina/UNIFESP, the Instituto Butantan and the A.C.
