Abstract

On this project the intention is to connect the study of the life to the analysis of the Clovis Moura's work, in which the emphasis is located on the direction of his interpretation of the History of Brazil and the insertion of the slaves on this perspective. Studying his personal and intellectual trajectory means also to reveal the articulations build with streams, political parties and organizations. The intention is to approach the intellectual and political route of Clovis Moura and his insertion on the Brazilian Historiography. To persecute this purpose means to verify the way the Clovis Moura's Works had been influenced by his political compromises and links, and by another side, the way occurred the dialogue with intellectuals and activists related to the named black question in Brazil. On this approach will be privileged the dialogues he stablished with the historical, sociological and anthropological production, as well with intellectuals from Brazil and abroad for collecting documents and materials aiming to use them in his studies, to discuss his interpretations, to develop editorial strategies. The analyses will have as conductors wires the construction of his identity associated to the "negritude" and his statements related to the Marxist interpretation of the History, which has as axe his insertion on the left political culture on the twentieth century.
