Improvement of the infrastructure for gene sequencing in the Laboratory for Medical Research 36 (LIM-36)

Abstract

Improve the basic infrastructure at the Laboratory for Medical Research 36 (LIM-36) for performing molecular biology techniques and genetic research for the study of Primary Immunodeficiencies, through the "Next Generation Sequencing", widely used in the thematic project "Human Thymus: Development and diseases "(2014 / 50489-9), coordinated by Profa. Dra. Magda M. S. Carneiro-Sampaio, as well as other research projects in several areas of Pediatrics. The adequacy of the infrastructure will be accomplished through the acquisition of basic equipment used in the storage and conservation of reagents, DNA extraction and preparation of the sequencing reaction, as well as in the acquisition and installation of equipment that will support the processing and storage of the data obtained from the sequencing experiments.
