Abstract

Our cooperation project aims to improve the knowledge of nuclear reactions involved in novae explosive nucleosynthesis and in CNO primordial nucleosynthesis by using these methods in experiments to be performed in laboratories in São Paulo and in France. In this project we are proposing to investigate the followins reactions: i) 10Be(p,4He)7Li, important for the primordial CNO cycle, in São Paulo ii) 22Na(p,gamma)23Mg and 22Ne(p,gamma)23Na capture reactions, which are important for understanding the O-Ne cycle in nova and supernovae, in Orsay and iii) 140(p,gamma)15F reaction in GANIL.
