Technological transfer process in the Swedish Innovation Ecosystem

Abstract

In this research the main goal is to get a better understanding of how and under which conditions Research Institutes and Universities from the Swedish Innovation Ecosystem deals with: prospection of technology and clients focused on monitoring activities and intelligence systems to support competitive strategy of the institution, technological transfer using different models of business such as start-ups, equity participation of PRIs in enterprises, attraction of investors to new business models, encouraging entrepreneurship towards researchers, internationalization of business and technologies, and strategies for negotiation and management of IP. The researcher is going to be home-based in Linkport University, department of Administration and Engineering in the area of innovation management and entrepreneurship and implemented visiting Innovation Offices from Research Institutions and Universities to identify practices, understand and analyses good practices to improve IPT's procedures and policies.
