Abstract

We propose to study the ground state properties of harmonically trapped pseudo spin-1/2Bose-Einstein condensates in quasi-two dimensional setting with Rashba spin-orbit coupling and Rabi coupling from the numerical solutions of coupled Gross-Pitaevskii equations and to analyse the stability using Bogoliubov theory. In particular, we wish to investigate the role of the parameters, namely, the strengths spin-orbit and Rabi couplings, and inter- and intra-species interactions on the ground state phases. (AU)
