Abstract

During the visiting time, professor and researcher Dr. Bernard A. Conway from the Strathclyde University in Glasgow will work on research activities as a visiting researcher at the Nove de Julho University IUNINOVE engaging in ongoing research projects involving master's degree and PhD students enrolled in the UNINOVE Rehabilitation Sciences Graduate Program. In addition, Dr. Conway will be involved in teaching activities. Dr. Conway will be involved in the main research project "Brain Activity and Motor Control during Upper Limb Movement in Children with Cerebral Palsy" and in the activities listed below: - Training students in the use of instrumentation (EEG) for the assessment of brain activity in synchronicity with a three-dimensional evaluation of movement; - Participating in data collection and processing related to the project cited above; - Collaborating in the preparation of manuscripts related to the project cited above and others already in the process of completion; - Participating in the development and definition of a new project in which he will perform in the co-advisor function; - Participating in the discipline "Posture and Gait" taught at the UNINOVE Rehabilitation Sciences Graduate Program as a visiting professor (workload: 8 hours); - Participating in doctoral qualification boards; - Participating in seminars to be held at the UNINOVE University.
