The visit of Prof. Stevens to the CEBIMar will be a continuation of scientific collaboration between the two institutions, namely a follow-up of a BEPE/FAPESP stay of the PhD student Rafael Duarte, under the supervision of Prof. Flores. During Prof. Steven's stay in São Sebastião (6 weeks) we aim to (i) review the literature on camouflage and color change as a means to identify research lines sustaining a solid cooperation between the two institutions, (ii) prepare two manuscripts resulting from the PhD project of the student Rafael Duarte, including data obtained in the United Kingdom and Brazil, and (iii) offer a graduate course on camouflage and antipredator behavior. Altogether, Prof. Steven's stay will promote the consolidation of a new research line in the CEBIMar and will provide new interchange opportunities with a world-class institution. (AU)
