LIFE QUALITY, PERFORMANCE OF ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIFE, ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION IN WOMEN mastectomy FOR BREAST CANCER

Abstract

It is a descriptive exploratory study with a quantitative approach with general objectives: to analyze the quality of life, the signs and symptoms of anxiety and depression, the functionality of the ipsilateral arm surgery for breast cancer and range of motion of ipsilateral and contralateral shoulders of women diagnosed with breast cancer submitted to conservative surgery and / or mastectomy. The subjects will be women who underwent conservative surgery and mastectomy at the Hospital of the clinic, Health Centre Vila Antarctica and Railway Village and Health Units Botucatu family. To collect the data will be used EORTC QLQ-C30 questionnaires, QLQ-BR23 to assess quality of life, Frenchay Activities Index to assess daily life activities and Hamilton instrument for assessment of anxiety and depression. For analysis statistical tests will be used. It will be proposed interventions with women who are post operative breast cancer Botucatu and municipalities referenced by DRS VI. (AU)
