Multiview autostereoscopic three-dimensional display for medical imaging visualization

Abstract

The visualization of MRI images by multiview autostereoscopic 3D display allows three-dimensional perception of high-resolution images to physicians in helping their diagnosis and disambiguation of parts. Due to the multiview potential of the display, it favours the discussion of cases between observers the right diagnosis. This project aims at using multiview autostereoscopic 3D display in the visualization of medical images to help in diagnosis of neurological diseases as well as neuroanatomy teaching. (AU)
