Abstract

The education of deaf people has been the subject of many discussions and constant theoretical debates about their actions. Given the national inclusive education policy and the need to revise it, through the development of bilingual education programs for deaf - Legal conquest of the deaf community, obtained through Decree 5.626/05 - becomes urgent to rethink the school organization to meet such demand. Currently the deaf education has been supplied by the presence of sign language interpreters, still very new professionals on the scene, and many without specific training. Thus, this research aims to track the performance of educational interpreters in elementary school II and analyze translational and pedagogical strategies that facilitate access to knowledge of deaf students. the focus of the work is to understand the implications of bilingual rooms in the early years of elementary when I come to these deaf students fundamental II. Did with the field of sign language in the early years the singer's performance becomes more harmonious? Above all, what are the particularities of the performance of this sign language interpreter professional when the universe monitored students have distinct lexical knowledge? Analyze the school context and at the same time provide in-service training are tasks to be deployed in this research project. (AU)
