Abstract

This project aims to acquire a reliable computational structure in the group of Statistical Mechanics of IFUSP, in which I become professor in 2014, in order to provide the development of my researchproject and those from my coworkers. Regarding the subject, we shall study distinct sort of systems in the scope of Statistical Mechanics. In the first part, we give a further step in the development of new methods and algorithms for equilibrium phase transitions. Next, absorbing phase transitionsare investigated in distinct lattice models aiming verifying the effect of distinct ingredients, such as the inclusion of distinct dynamics and finite size scaling for discontinuous one.
