Lasertherapy and Biosilicate/magnesium/collagen composites, used in association or isolated: in vitro and in vivo biological evaluation in bone tissue

Abstract

During the process of boné repair, 5 to 10% of the fractures culminate in abnormal consolidation. In this context, many treatments have been developing try to improve the process of bone healing, including biomaterials and low level laser therapy. In this context, this project has the aim of investigating the effects of composites of Biosilicate/ Collagen and magnesium and Lasertherapy, used associated or isolated in the process of bone healing. For this purpose, in vitro and in vivo tests (in a model of tibial bone defects in rats) will be performed. (AU)
