Abstract
The Allocation Plan of the Institutional Technical Reserve, year 2014, bound to Centre for Biological and Health Sciences of Federal University of São Carlos (CCBS/UFSCar), was approved at the 57th. Ordinary Council Meeting Center (CoC/CCBS) held on april 29, 2014. After extensive discussion, the Center Board homologated and resolved by forwarding the plan to the Scientific Board of FAPESP. The coordination and management of the Allocation Plan was awarded to Prof. Dr. Gilberto Eiji Shiguemoto, Department of Physiological Sciences. Given the specificities that make up the academic structure, research and extnsion of the large areas involved in this plan (Biological and Health), the allocation of resources was designed to adress the needs and particularities of research by area and sub-areas under the departments involved. It is worth mentioning that a percentage of the resource (10%) was allocated to management responsability in CCBS, with a commitment to meet the demands of other departments not covered with these resources, strictly justified in the context of compliance with institutional research. The total amount of resources coming from the 2014 Institutional Technical Reserve (R$ 339.667,00) was generated by 16 research projects of associated researchers to CCBS, being 2 thematics, 1 young researcher, and 13 regular projects. In this context, the Center Board undertood and designated that the resources proceeding of the Institutional Technical Reserve should be applied primarily to the improvement and development of structural conditions and logistics for scientific research, respecting diversity and departmental specificity.
