This project describes an investment plan for the Institutional infrastructure. The CIPE (International Research Center) building is dedicated to scientific research and holds laboratories, administrative areas and support teams. Informatics resources such as network directories, email, backup and specialized information systems are fundamental tools for all research, support and administrative groups. Access to these critical resources is due by cable or wireless networking. CIPE current wireless networking infrastructure does not allow user authentication for accessing internal resources; it only grant access to the Internet. This hinders the work of researchers, specially students and external collaborators. Therefore, we propose to renew the wireless network at CIPE, improving connection quality and speed for researchers, allowing authenticated access to the intranet resources from mobile devices and meet the estimated grow of the Research Superintendence, which will occupy two additional floor of CIPE building.
