The focus of this project deals is to study the pressure profile in the tokamak TCABR and its macroscopic dependence on the plasma parameters. For this, two optical diagnostics will be developed in the laboratory. These diagnostics are the Thomson scattering diagnostics (or scattered light diagnostic) which currently measures the electron temperature in only one spatial point, and the ion temperature diagnostic that needs to be optically connected with the tokamak in order that the spatial profile can be obtained. Therefore, to perform the measurement of plasma pressure, it will be need:* Design and installation of a new optical objective to collect the scattered light in order to measure the electron temperature and density; *Optical fibers sizing for multiplexing signals; optical support and alignment design; * Calibrate the diagnostic (with Rayleigh/Raman scattering) with nitrogen gas for density measurements.* Develop a data acquisition system in order to the calculate the temperature and density, and integrate such data with the main data management system of the Laboratory;* Design and installation an optical system responsible to connect the plasma column and the THR1000 monochromator for measurements of the ion temperature profile.
