The Raman spectroscopy, as well as the microscopy, has revealed an excellent analytical tool in the chemical area, pharmaceutics, biological and in the sciences of materiaIs, acting as support in the deve/opment and identification of compositions, as well as in the study of the ultra-structure in biological systems. This coupled equipments that allow a deeper vision ofthe cellular systems, (normal or pathological), through flow cytometry, confocal microscopy multiarray, sorting of specific population of cellular lineages, for specific genomics and proteomics studies, representing the future of the translational medicine, which will allow the isolation of the pathological cells with high specificity by conjugated techniques of microscopy (Confocal, Raman, SEM, TEM); the detection of organelles specifically, normal or with some injury, leading to a beffer understand and allowing that not only the genomic test and proteomic are done but that the new medicines are design for this purpose, because today we have several of new nanotechnologies on service of the good research and of improve the health. The Raman spectroscopy coupled to ali different microscopy techniques will allow us to obtaining the spectra and selective images (in frequency), allowing the mapping of a surface and in depth, of biological systems / biochemical, of nanodrugs understanding their areas of cellular interaction, of composites and micro elements that unbalance the biological system, identification of components in a mixture, study of phase separation, mapping areas more hydrophilic or hydrophobic, responsible for the interaction of the drugs with the biological objective, identification of mineraIs, forensic samples and flowed corporal, soi/ analysis and micro nutrients in unbalance that you/they can take to pathologies, structural identification in present crystalline solids as assets in the developed the new drugs, among others. In the specific case of applications in biological systems among the several studies starting from the use of confocal Raman can mention: analysis of DNA; interaction among drugs and cells; diagnosis and cancer prognostic, in an of the new approach inside of the pharmaceutics the production of new drugs with the possibility to work as a theranostic ones (used for diagnostics and treatment at the same time); with lipids, proteins and amino acids; combination among Raman & Fluorescence (Confocal).
