On the other side of the fence: experiments with images, childhood and education. Reflections and looks for child development from imagistic productions of teachers and children

Abstract

The present study constitutes as an offshoot of 3 research projetas. These aforementioned projects have reflected on the power of image and film production processes of subjectivity in the school universe. In the same perspective we have developed an extension project with teachers from nursery (4 months to 3 years) from the power of image and film in teacher training. Constituting as an offshoot of these activities (the four research projects and extension project) this project, we now propose, aims to reflect on the possibilities that the images and imagistic productions of children and teachers / instructors in the context of educational practices offer a reflection on the development of children and the educational practices of the teacher. We as authors theoretical assumptions as W. Benjamin, G. Agamben, Michel Foucault and G. Deleuze. The work uses as a research methodology which we have called and presented as" research and experience." (AU)
