Abstract
The UNIFESP network has over 10,000 workstations, 186 network servers, 700 network devices and 14 active WAN connections, interconnecting campuses of UNIFESP, in São Paulo (Vila Clementino and Santo Amaro), Santos, Diadema, Guarulhos, São José dos Campos, Embu das Artes, Osasco and the University Hospital. This infrastructure has approximately 26 thousand users that use the various network services. UNIFESP has invested in modernizing the infrastructure of Information Technology, connectivity between campuses and expanded services that rely on technology and Internet access. This project aims to improve general aspects of information security, the quality of email services, monitoring and management of network equipment, reduce the risk of failure, and improve the infrastructure of a data center network.
