Abstract

During the visit of Prof. Jose Manuel Dominguez Gonzalez will organized seminars entitled: a) Use of agricultural and industrial wastes to obtaining economic culture media and food additives, b) Production of biosurfactants and bioemulsifiers from agricultural waste using lactic acid bacteria, c) Studies of extraction of ferulic of agricultural and industrial wastes and bioconversion in phenolic compounds of interest for food, and d) Development of fermentation technologies for the production of antimicrobial compounds and potential application in food and pharmaceutical industries. It will be prepared 03 scientific articles to be submitted to international journals. There is the possibility of developing other articles, once that new results may be obtained until march 2014.Elaboration of an international convention. In 2012 the professors Ricardo Pinheiro de Souza Oliveira of USP and Jose Manuel Dominguez Gonzalez of UVIGO began to draw up a General Academic Arrangement between Vigo University and São Paulo UniversityBiochemical-Pharmaceutical Technology USP can no longer be exchanged from 2014.Prof. Gonzalez will organize a course that will cover an area of great interest to Brazil.
