Abstract

In this project is requested financial support for a visit of the Professor Cecilia Villaverde, from the University of Barcelona. Dr. Villaverde is credited as professor and advisor in the Graduation Program in Veterinarian Medicine at FCAV/UNESP, Jaboticabal campus. The visit aimed to discuss the research project named "Diets with different relations of protein and carbohydrate for cats: effect on energy metabolism oxalate production and methods for measuring energy expenditure". Moreover, two master degree dissertations and one PhD thesis correlated with the same subject will be discussed and structured. Furthermore, Professor Villaverde will lecture in the discipline "Clinical Nutrition of dogs and cats", a regular discipline of the graduation course of Veterinarian Medicine at FCAV/UNESP and in the "Clinical Nutrition Symposium", promoted by the Department of Veterinary Clinic and Surgery (FCAV/UNESP, Campus Jaboticabal).
