Abstract

Interested in the theoretical and methodological foundations of Clinical Activity, we have, for some years now, established contact with prof. Yves Clot and his team, through various forms of exchange, which has been carried out including his visits to Brazil and the Brazilian researchers' to CNAM in Paris. For years we have studied their work and discussed the contributions of the approach suggested by the author to think about teacher training and teaching work. The work of Professor Yves Clot inspired some of the research procedures and analyzes conducted under the Project for the Improvement of Public Education FAPESP (Proc. 2009/50556-0), and the project team had the opportunity to study this framework and discuss it on several occasions. The purpose of the visit is therefore to undertake a Research Seminar, bringing together Brazilian researchers who have been studying the author's proposal, with the aim of deepening a discussion of issues that emerged as problematic from theoretical studies and empirical investigations. The seminar will cover the following topics: Activity and meaning, the concept of development and the relationship with the technical tools and semiotic; self-confrontation: data analysis, the role of the expert / specialist X intervenent in clinic of activity; Emotions in the work of Vygotsky and the contemporary world. The proposal is to conduct a theoretical and methodological discussion, in order to contribute to ongoing research. Researchers invited from different groups, will present texts for discussion in thematic sessions. We have the aim of publishing the presented texts in dossiers. The academic debate may contribute to ongoing research, for deepening the theoretical discussions, and may encourage the development of new collaborative projects between research groups in Brazil and abroad.
