Abstract

Considering the increasing aesthetic demands, the development of zirconia and use technology CAD/CAM this study aims to evaluate the internal and marginal adaptation, resistance to fracture after thermo-cycling mechanical and implants tensions by digital image correlation in partial prosthesis implant fixed with pillars and copings zirconia with diferente CAD/CAM systems compared to the conventional method (n=10). Marginal adaptation will be examined by microscope comparator with an accuracy of 1 µm and 15x increase and internal by analogous cement technique. To carry out the mechanical cycling, the prosthesis will be positioned on the machine of mechanical fatigue by chewing and applies the load of 120 N with a tip that simulates the antagonist occlusion simulating 2,000,000 cycles. During the test, the prosthesis will be kept in distilled water, and termocicladas with a variation of temperature between 5° -55° C. To verification of the tensions generated by partial prosthesis fixed around the implants will be held by digital image correlation analysis. Will be randomly selected a prosthetic and antagonist from each of CAD/CAM systems and applied a load of 250 N, with approach speed of 0.1 mm/min, using a universal testing machine with load cell of 25 kN. Through bending test, will apply a force perpendicular to the long axis of the prosthetic part until due to bending or fracture no more resistance. The results of this work will allow indicate whether or not the CAD/CAM system for making pillars and copings in zirconium with reliability in partial prosthesis fixed. (AU)
