Abstract

The visiting scholar Sonia Damyanova with a great experience in catalysis and as a collaborator of the project will contribute to further strengthening the research capacity of the host group which involves graduate and PhD students and formation of professionals with high qualification and multidisciplinary skills. The research of energy production from renewable resources by means of biomass reforming to hydrogen and synthesis gas is focused on (i) development of technologies for biomass reforming and (ii) development of new generation of nanosized catalysts possessing high activity and stability for successful biomass reforming to hydrogen and chemical products. It will help improving the innovation capacity and the technology transfer with the domestic industry. (AU)
