Investigation of magnetism and superconductivity in the new alloy of Fe-Se-X and Mg-Ce-X interstitial system

Abstract

In this work development of new alloy with magnetic and superconductivity properties to Fe-Se-X and Ce-Mg-X (X = B, C or N) will be shown. Preliminary results show that boron content can stabilize the FeSe0.88 superconductor phase and induced superconductivity in the other phases from Fe-Se system. To Mg-Ce system results of structure band calculus show that MgCe phase has a peak in the Density of State at Fermi level to 4f band. This fact suggest high Sommerfeld constant. Preliminary results display Mg2Ce and Mg3Ce exhibit and slope in the electrical resistivity measurement which can be associated with magnetic transition. These materials can be considerate a new heavy fermion. (AU)
