Evaluation of the daily care of the female genitals (waxing, tattoos, piercings, clothing, and sexual practices) of girls students from the campus of the Zeferino Vaz Campinas State University

Abstract

The care for the female genitalia in the sexual practice and due to aesthetic reasons is subject of interest of all women. However, the form, frequency and occasion to make it properly are not clear, both for health workers, and women themselves, and require largest scientific foundations. It is necessary, therefore, to accumulate information about the practices toward the attention of female genitalia, since this information is not available in national or international literature. Objective: to Evaluate the daily practices of care of the female genitalia in University women. Subject and methods: Descriptive analytic study. Will be applied a questionnaire in 364 students, which contains 42 questions related to the daily care of the female genitals, in university students of Universidade Estadual de Campinas in Cidade Universitária Zeferino Vaz. To collecting, recording and storage of data, we will use the computer programs such as, Microsoft Office Excel. The results will be evaluated by descriptive statistics (frequency, average and standard deviation) and will be held a accordance analysis to identify the interrelationships among the questions. The significance level is assumed at 5% and the software used for analysis is the SAS 9.2 version. (AU)
