Conservative power theory and applications on smart micro-grids

Abstract

Prof. Tenti will work directly with researchers and postgraduate students in aspects relating to the application of the Theory of Conservative Power in the context of various projects related to microrredes energy control. However, some other activities are scheduled, such as:* Seminars: will be provided at least two seminars on the subjects: 1) "Load identification, revenue metering and accountability in electrical systems by means of the Conservative Power Theory"; 2) "Optimum Centralized and distributed control of smart grids by dynamic micro-grid topology and identification of parameters ". Possibly one of the seminars will be held in Sorocaba (UNESP) and one in Campinas (UNICAMP). In the case of the seminar at UNESP, will be provided an institutional video-conference system, so the seminar could be attended in real time by the other UNESP campi (Bauru, Ilha Solteira, Guaratinguetá, etc..). Furthermore, researches from other institutions, especially USP, PUC-SP, UFABC, UFSCAR, FACENS, CPqD, CTI and companies (ABB, Emerson, Siemens, Semikron, Wobben, etc.) will be invited to attend the seminars.* Workshop: A workshop will be 1 or 2 days in Sorocaba, under the subject "Renewable energy and smart grids", open to the public inside and outside the university, when it is expected that Prof. Tenti present lectures on "Recent Advances on the research activity on smart micro-grids at the University of Padova and future developments".
