Alternative construction systems for buildings in rural areas: experience of CEVE Argentina

Abstract

The Professor Mariana Pilar Gatan, National University of Cordoba (UNC / Argentina) and researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET / Argentina), is an expert in the field of alternative technologies for construction, with emphasis on particle board based agro-industrial residues and polymer resin. With over 10 years of experience, has become a reference in his country and has over the past year, seeking partnerships internal and external to Argentina, in order to disseminate and multiply their knowledge. The proposal includes activities that contribute to the research project financed by FAPESP 2009/14062-2 - Use of waste lignocellulosic agro-industry for the manufacture of particle board with polyurethane resin based on castor oil, under the coordination of Professor Juliano Fiorelli. Expected to participate as a visiting professor in the discipline "Animal building project assisted by the computer," the Post-Graduation in Animal Science, the FZEA/USP, speaking class that addresses the theme of "Constructive alternative systems for rural buildings - an experience the Ceve/CONICET - Argentina", and to propose the participation of Professor Gatani as a lecturer in the I Workshop Lignocellulosic Particle Board - "Particle board of peanut shell - the Argentine experience".
