Abstract

We expect that this research visit produces a number of concrete results: a) Produce a journal or conference paper reporting our proposed wireless network architecture for environmental monitoring as well as a proposed tested architecture to support future research in this area. b) We also aim at producing a project proposal (under construction now between U. of Bern, USP and UFPa) for the 7th call of the European Framework Program 7 (ICT-EU Brazil Coordinated Call; EU-FP7 Objective ICT 2011.10.1: EU-Brazil Research \& Development cooperation) with an expected deadline by mid of January 2011. c) Last but no the least, we expect to have a guidance from Prof. Torsten Braun to produce at least a skeleton of the generic architecture to integrate our wireless networking platform to Ad-hoc/mesh/Internet network. This architecture can then be refined and implemented along the progress of this research. (AU)
