Kim Ekstrand's visit to Dental School, University of São Paulo

Abstract

The Ekstrand's visit to Brazil aims to integrate the University of São Paulo (Department of Pediatric Dentistry) with the University of Copenhagen (Department of Cariology and Endodontics) in order to establish a partnership between the universities, promoting future professional contacts, as well as students interchange and development of future studies. For his visit, the programme is performing activities related to research protocols of our university, some of which are receiving finnancial suppport from CNPq; lectures concerning caries diagnosis and minimal intervention in caries treatment for undergrated and graduated students from our Department and, finally, a lecture for the scientific community in general regarding the topic: ICDAS: an alternative for clinical, epidemiological and research purposes?". All these activities will be performed during 18 days, in order to joining the activity plans with the visitant professors availability. (AU)
